What does a welcoming city look like?

To many, immigration and the status of refugees can seem like abstract and polarizing issues that continue to hopelessly divide Washington and the nation. But to so many others, it’s a deeply personal topic with consequences that reverberate in communities across the country. On June 28 at 5:30pm, Metro Ideas Project will host three individuals that will dive deep into how policymakers, community leaders and residents can work together to build more welcoming and inclusive communities.
